What is an AI credit?

The AI features, meaning summaries, flashcards, quizzes, concept explanations and chat, use credits. Every plan has a monthly and a daily allowance: Free gives 300 a month and 40 a day, Student Pro 1000 a month and 100 a day, and Student Pro Max 2500 a month and 250 a day. The daily allowance keeps one long day from using up the whole month. The Profile page always shows how much you have used.

At the time of writing, these actions cost:

• a question in the document chat, or a concept explanation: 1 credit,
• a question in the subject chat: 2 credits,
• a summary: 2 credits, and reopening it costs nothing (a new one is only made if you change your language),
• a ten-card flashcard set: 2 credits,
• a quiz: 2 credits for every started block of five questions, so a five-question quiz costs 2 and a twenty-question quiz 8,
• the same actions on a whole subject (Student Pro Max only): twice the cost, so a subject summary or a ten-card subject set costs 4.

If an AI action fails because of an error, the reserved credits are refunded. The binding list is in section 4.1 of the terms of service (in Hungarian).

On the paid plans, reading images and scanned pages uses no credits. Neither do reviewing, starring, Anki and CSV export, organising into subjects, or opening content you have already generated.

What happens when you hit the limit?

When the daily or monthly allowance runs out, the AI feature does not start, and the app says "Today's AI allowance is used up" or "This month's AI allowance is used up", together with when you can use it again. The daily allowance resets at midnight and the monthly one on the first day of the next month, Hungarian time. Unused credits do not carry over to the next month. Rarely, the AI features may be unavailable for the rest of the day regardless of your allowance; no credits are used then, and they work again the next day.

What needs a paid plan?

Most features are on every plan: summaries, flashcards, quizzes, chat about a document, concept explanations, scheduled review, Anki and CSV export, organising into subjects, and English and Hungarian. Three things work only on the paid plans, the last one only on Student Pro Max:

• Processing images and scanned pages. Only these plans read photos, handwritten notes and scanned PDF pages, up to 30 or 100 distinct images per document. See scanned and handwritten notes.
• Subject chat. Ask questions across every document in a subject at once, with sources. See chat with documents.
• Summary, flashcards, quizzes and concept explanations for a whole subject (Student Pro Max only). The same actions as for one document, but drawing on every processed document in the subject.

How do you subscribe and cancel?

You start for free: sign up and the Free plan works straight away, with no card. To subscribe, pick a plan on the Profile page. Confirm your e-mail address first, because that is where the invoice goes. Payment happens on Stripe's checkout page, and when you subscribe you ask for the service to start immediately, which means giving up the 14-day right of withdrawal. Under the terms of service, anyone under 18 needs a parent's or guardian's consent for a paid plan.

The subscription renews monthly and can be cancelled any time on the Profile page, with the Manage subscription button. You can change plans there too: a move to a bigger plan charges the difference for the rest of the period straight away, pro rata, and a move to a smaller plan takes effect at the end of the period. A cancelled subscription stays active until the end of the paid period, then your account moves to the Free plan. Your documents stay, but if you have more than the Free plan allows, you cannot upload new ones until you delete some. The terms of service and the privacy notice are available in Hungarian only.
